After completing her undergraduate studies in Physics Engineering, İpek Zaza Çetin began her professional career, combining her experience in sales, marketing, and business development with a vision for strategic growth and a customer value–oriented mindset. After transferring this expertise to various organizations through consultancy activities, she assumed the role of General Manager in the family company in 2008, leading the company’s strengthening on a global scale. Today, she continues her work as one of the leading figures in the industry, with expertise in strategic management, growth planning, international business development, and sustainability.

With over 20 years of field experience specializing in industrial furnace projects, Altan Zaza is one of the founding partners of GTR and serves as the Deputy General Manager responsible for managing all field operations. He leads the completion of projects on time and in accordance with international quality standards. With his leadership in operational excellence and team management, he is recognized as one of the respected experts in the industry.

He holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and an MBA from Istanbul University. For 30 years, he has held positions in Business Development, Marketing, and Management across various industries. He has provided consultancy and training services to several companies in the field of business development. Since 2022, he has been serving as the Business Development Director at GTR.

A graduate of Bahçeşehir University in Marketing and İzmir University of Economics in Public Relations & Advertising, Mehtap Bozkurt has over 20 years of experience. During her agency career, she led projects with ISO 500 brands and specialized in strategic communication and brand management within corporate structures.

Through the award-winning social responsibility projects she has managed, Bozkurt has aimed to create value for society. Today, she serves as the Director of Strategic Planning and Sustainable Management at GTR, overseeing the Corporate Communication and Marketing Department under this directorate.

With over 30 years of international experience, Mahmut Tuncay Çetin has worked in the automotive, heavy equipment, and natural stone industries. He has served as a founding partner and senior executive in Turkey, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates, specializing in sales, marketing, operations, and foreign trade. Since 2022, he has been serving as the Operations Manager at GTR.

A graduate of Muğla University in Restoration and Anadolu University in Business Administration, Senem Aksoy has served in various departments at GTR and possesses extensive knowledge of the company. Today, she serves as the Internal Audit Coordinator at GTR.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Marmara University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and a master’s degree in Management and Organization from Selçuk University, she has worked in Human Resources Management for 25 years across various sectors, including Construction and Tourism, as well as Services, Education, Health, and Manufacturing. As of 2025, she has been serving as the Human Resources Director at Glasstech.

A graduate of Dumlupınar University in Accounting and Anadolu University in Business Administration, Aynur Karataş has nearly 28 years of professional experience. She joined Glasstech Furnace Refractory Steel Inc. about two years ago as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Financial Affairs Manager.

Between 2010 and 2012, she worked as an instructor at a Public Education Center and Vocational High School, and she has also served as an Accounting and Finance Manager in various industries.

Serdar Yücel holds a master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety and is a NEBOSH-certified Class A Occupational Safety Specialist and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor. He has gained experience in the management of HSE processes, risk analysis, legal compliance, and emergency preparedness across various sectors, including heavy industry, pharmaceuticals, construction, and academia. As HSE Manager at GTR, Yücel is responsible for implementing HSE strategies, sustainability initiatives, risk management, legal compliance processes, and the development of a strong corporate HSE culture.

With over 20 years of international experience, Mehmet Tavlan has held supervisor and managerial positions in the procurement and logistics processes of 11 projects across 8 different countries. A graduate of Pendik High School, Tavlan has been contributing to the Procurement Department at Glasstech Refractory since 2024.

A graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Law, he has been working for 20 years with a team of experts specializing in various sectors, including glass industry, construction, healthcare, precious metals, and defense. His expertise covers Labor and Social Security Law, Public Procurement Law, Contract Law, and the resolution of disputes in Obligations and Commercial Law.

He is also registered with the Mediation Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Turkey as a certified mediator, specializing in Labor Law, Insurance Law, Banking and Finance Law, Commercial Law, and Consumer Law, conducting both mandatory and voluntary mediation processes. Since 2019, he and his team have been providing legal consultancy and serving as the Legal Director for GTR.
