IT Specialist

Position : IT Specialist
Reports to : General Manager
Organization : An industrial manufacturing and engineering company operating across international and domestic markets, in the midst of a structured growth and organizational maturity process.
Sector : Glass furnace manufacturing, industrial process optimization, and project-oriented engineering services

Role Purpose

To ensure the continuous, secure, and efficient operation of the company’s IT infrastructure; and to actively support the transition from an outsourced IT service model to an in house IT structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure (network, servers, hardware, and software)
• Provide end-user support and manage helpdesk processes
• Ensure system, network, and data security
• Manage backup, data recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Coordinate with the current outsourced IT service provider and lead the transition process when required
• Track IT assets and manage software licensing
• Research and implement new technologies to improve business efficiency
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT operations
• Strong knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, Firewall, VPN)
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Hands-on experience in hardware, software, and end-user support
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills with a user-oriented mindset
• Preferably experienced in transitioning from outsourced to in-house IT structures
