Position : IT Specialist
Reports to : General Manager
Organization : An industrial manufacturing and engineering company operating across international and domestic markets, in the midst of a structured growth and organizational maturity process.
Sector : Glass furnace manufacturing, industrial process optimization, and project-oriented engineering services
Role Purpose
To ensure the continuous, secure, and efficient operation of the company’s IT infrastructure; and to actively support the transition from an outsourced IT service model to an in house IT structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure (network, servers, hardware, and software)
- Provide end-user support and manage helpdesk processes
- Ensure system, network, and data security
- Manage backup, data recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Coordinate with the current outsourced IT service provider and lead the transition process when required
- Track IT assets and manage software licensing
- Research and implement new technologies to improve business efficiency
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT operations
- Strong knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, Firewall, VPN)
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Hands-on experience in hardware, software, and end-user support
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with a user-oriented mindset
- Preferably experienced in transitioning from outsourced to in-house IT structures
